Originally from Cork, Karen brings such a fun and warm energy to every appointment, instantly putting brides at ease from the moment they walk through the door!
She has a natural ability to really listen and understand what each bride is looking for, helping guide them towards something that feels completely right for them.
Karen truly cares about the experience just as much as the dress itself, and it shows in how she connects with every bride she meets. We feel so lucky to have her as part of the Cirq team, and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

We asked Karen a couple of questions about how she runs her appointements
How did you become interested in bridal styling?
I’ve always had a huge love for fashion, it’s been such a big part of my life. When it came to my own wedding, I even designed my dress and had it made by an Irish designer, which was really important to me. That experience made me fall even more in love with bridal styling and wanting to help other brides feel the same joy and confidence on their big day.
How do you approach styling a bride in her appointment?
For me it is really about listening to the bride first.
Every bride that comes through the door is different from the last and the next, so I take the time to understand their own style, what they feel comfortable in, and what their vision is (and then helping them push the boundaries of that a little!)
I love helping them find a dress that feels like them, while also knowing it’s a more sustainable choice. When a bride feels confident and comfortable, everything else just falls into place.
How does working with an ever changing collection influence how you style appointments?
Working with an ever changing collection really keeps every appointment exciting!
It means I’m always really familiar with what we have at the moment so I can pull a thoughtful mix of styles, along with a few unexpected pieces a bride might not have considered.
Because the dresses are always changing each appointment feels completely personal and one of a kind which I love. It also encourages brides to stay open minded and trust the process, knowing they’re finding something special that already has its own story!
How do you know when a bride has found the one?
I usually know a bride has found the one even before they do. It’s in the way their body relaxes and their face lights up in the mirror, and that spark that comes through.
There could be hundreds of dresses that make them feel good, and they could try on all of them but if a dress ticks all the boxes we talked about at the start of the appointment, it’s usually the one.
When they start moving and smiling like themselves, everything clicks, and you can tell it just feels right.
